Palm Wax Candles

A significant number of WicksWorks' customers enjoy the selection of hand poured, scented palm wax candles that we stock, which combine value, quality and style. Currently we offer three styles of palm wax candles: 15 oz. two wick jars; 8.5 oz. Deco jars, and 8" chakra energy pillars.

The subtle elegance of the jar candles allow them to blend easily into any decor. Their unique aromas are created with custom fragrance oil and essential oil blends, many of which were developed utilizing focus groups comprised of consumers who frequently burn scented candles. The chakra energy pillars are scented exclusively with essential oils selected for their aromatherapy benefits relative to balancing each chakra.

A pleasant bonus is the extraordinarily clean and long burn that all these palm wax candles provide.

Palm Wax Candles Facts And Features

• The main ingredient in palm wax is palm oil, which is obtained from the fruit of palm oil trees. Palm oil is actually a "virgin" oil, because it is obtained just by steaming and pressing the palm fruit.
• The oil palm tree is a natural renewable resource. It has a higher yield and is more resilient than any other oilseed crop. No artificial fertilizers or chemical treatments are required for its cultivation.
• Palm wax has a unique crystalline structure that is quite attractive.
• Palm wax is a fairly versatile candle making medium; it can be used to make votives, tapers, pillars and container candles.
• Palm wax candles are virtually dripless and soot-free.
• Palm wax holds twice as much fragrance as paraffin or soy wax.
• Palm wax candles burn with a bright flame, minimizing soot emissions.
• The manufacturer of these palm wax candles has developed a proprietary technology that enables them to regulate and balance the fragrance evaporation of their candles, ensuring that the entire fragrance accord is released at the same time. As a result, you can experience the full fragrance of the candle when it is cold ("cold throw"). And when you burn it, that same smell will completely fill the room ("hot throw").
• The wicks in these palm wax candles are made of top grade cotton, calibrated to burn more efficiently. Most of them have a tiny paper core, which prevents the wick from collapsing into the liquid palm wax. The larger jars are fitted with two small wicks, which have been found to yield a cleaner burn than a single, thicker wick.
